Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We want to extend our support to those in need; however, it's important to note that we are not a crisis center or team equipped to handle immediate emergencies. If you are currently in crisis or actively suicidal, we urge you to seek immediate assistance from a crisis intervention center or call emergency services.

Our therapy services are designed to provide support and assistance to individuals dealing with various challenges, including those struggling with thoughts of suicidality. While therapy can be beneficial in managing symptoms and addressing underlying issues, it is most effective when accessed prior to a crisis situation.

If you are experiencing non-active thoughts such as :

"Sometimes I wonder if life is worth living."

            "I'd be better off dead."

"I feel like things would be easier if I wasn't around."

"I'm tired of struggling; I wish I could just disappear."

"Life feels overwhelming right now, and I don't see a way out."

We can offer evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which involves reframing and disputing negative thoughts. However, if you are in immediate danger or crisis, please prioritize your safety by seeking help from your local crisis center, hospital, you can  Dial 911 and/or contact

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (Text or Call).

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost one day before your medical service. Under the law, mental health providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services such as therapeutic services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate you can dispute the bill. For more questions or information about your right to Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/no surprises or call The No Surpises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a specialized therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and painful memories. It works by using eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain “reprocess” distressing experiences, so they no longer feel as overwhelming or triggering.

✅ What Is It Used For?

EMDR is widely used for:

  • PTSD and trauma (including childhood abuse, assault, accidents)

  • Anxiety and panic attacks

  • Grief and loss

  • Low self-esteem and negative beliefs

  • First responder or military trauma

  • Phobias and performance anxiety

  • Relationship wounds or betrayal trauma

✅ How Effective Is EMDR?

  • EMDR is backed by over 30 years of research.

  • It’s recognized by the APA, VA, and WHO as an evidence-based treatment for trauma.

  • Studies show up to 90% of clients with a single trauma no longer meet PTSD criteria after just 3–6 sessions.

  • For complex trauma, EMDR still significantly reduces symptoms faster than traditional talk therapy.
